Privacy policy
This website collects nothing by itself: no form, no account, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Your data is only processed if you choose to contact us.
Data controller
SL Picandco, C/ Salida de Femés 32, 35570 Yaiza (Las Palmas), Spain, NIF B09898495. Contact: lesterrassesdelasbrenas@gmail.com.
When you contact us
By phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, you send us the information of your choice: name, contact details, dates and number of guests. We use it only to answer you and prepare your stay, at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If you book, the data needed for the rental contract is kept for the duration of the stay, then for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require. Like all tourist accommodation in Spain, we record the identity of guests and pass it on to the authorities, in accordance with Real Decreto 933/2021.
An enquiry that does not lead to a booking is deleted no later than one year after our last exchange.
Who has access
Your hosts only. We never sell or share any data. Messages pass through the services you use to write to us: Gmail (Google) for e-mail, WhatsApp (Meta) if you use that app. These companies may process data outside the European Union, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Hosting and server logs
Our hosting provider OVH keeps, like any web server, technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) to keep the website secure. Fonts are hosted on our own servers: no request is sent to Google Fonts.
Google Maps
The map in the contact section is a plain image until you click on it. When you click, the interactive map is loaded from Google, which then receives your IP address and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase or port your data, or to object to or restrict its processing, by writing to lesterrassesdelasbrenas@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos or with the authority of your own country.
